I like to think of them as OUR arrows

Once Matt made it in he'd find Kate still setting up dinner for them, going back and forth while Ella rided on her shoulder. There was no question about it, she was daddy's little girl. But she would gladly take a ride from anyone who offered her the attention she deserved.

Almost sensing that Matt was gone, both the kittens had woken up when Matt took Lucky for a walk. And so, while her dog came to greet her, Sam heading straight towards Matt as he let ouf a string of loud meows dedicated fully at him.

"I know you could." Kate explained herself as Matt held her. "But I had nothing better to do and thought I might as well set things up for dinner." She shrugged. "How did the walk go?"

Ella, watching those exchanges of affection, reached out with her little paw to touch Matt's face.
